What is Kalbijjim?
For over 400 years, from the 14th to the 18th century, Kalbijjim (Braised Beef Short Ribs) was a dish reserved exclusively for the kings and royal families of the Joseon Dynasty. Today, Kalbijjim is enjoyed by everyone, but it remains a special dish in many Korean families, often served on significant occasions such as birthdays, holidays, and weddings.
At Daeho, we honor the authenticity of traditional Korean royal recipes while incorporating modern twists to create soft, juicy, and tender Kalbijjim. We use only prime-grade beef and meticulously measure every ingredient to ensure a consistent, exquisite flavor at all our locations.
